The Former Tony's Bakery gets a facelift
Tony’s Rolling Pin Bakery closed up shop not too long ago, and it looks like the space on 3156 Glendale Blvd. in Atwater Village already has a new tenant.
Proof Bakery is rumored to be opening up this week – we first heard it was supposed to be on Tuesday, but a quick run to check it out yesterday told me they’d be holding off for a few more days (see photo above). Apparently barista Yeekai Lim will be brewing your espresso at Proof, along with owner Na Young Ma and baker Crystal White.
You’ll be able to get a delicious cup of coffee and hopefully some baked goodies during their newly scheduled soft opening on Friday starting at 8:00 am.
Welcome, Proof! I already love you. Visited this morning, had some truly exquisite coffee, and everyone there was excited about opening in Atwater. It’s a great space, and the pastries, breads, and cakes are edible art.
Small, tasteless pastries… just another trendy, OVERpriced shop with very little substance… we desperately need a decent bakery over here, sadly this isn’t it.
