This is exciting for Atwater Village and nearby neighbors: the Neighborhood Council is hosting the first movie night of this summer on June 17 with a classic, Superman! This has been a tradition since 2006 (with some time off in between, we believe) so it’s a lot of fun – and certainly less crowded than going to a movie night at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
Here’s the lineup for the whole summer:
June 17, 2011: Superman
July 15, 2011: Back to the Future
August 19, 2011: Raiders of the Lost Ark
September 16, 2011: Wall-E
All movies begin at sundown and are presented at the Los Feliz Municipal Golf Course, 3207 Los Feliz Blvd. Picnics encouraged, but leave the doggies at home.
