Join neighbors, the Atwater Village Neighborhood Council, Friends of Atwater Village and the Atwater Village Chamber of Commerce for a neighborhood cleanup of Glendale Boulevard tomorrow – Saturday, October 1, 2011.
There are two ways to join in on the improvement and empowering of our community:
1) Check in at Luis Lopez Automotive and pick up supplies to clean up a spot of your choosing.
2) Check in at 55 Degree Wine (starting at 8:00 am) and help clean and landscape the Glendale Boulevard median from Larga to Glenfeliz. Bring your own gloves!
Thanks to Friends of Atwater Village, Nick Warnes, Leonora Gershman Pitts, and Cindy Marie Jenkins for their efforts in organizing this neighborhood cleanup, as well as CD13/Eric Garcetti’s contributions via the “Clean and Connected Communities” grant.
