You may have heard about the review website Yelp’s interest in Atwater Village, but if you haven’t here’s the low-down: Yelp! has put together a 10-day promotion in Atwater Village aimed at “celebrating” businesses along Los Feliz Blvd., Glendale Blvd. and Casitas Avenue. Tonight is the kick-off for the 10-day promotion, which takes place on Casitas Avenue at the new Atwater Crossing Kitchen. If you RSVP’d ahead of time, the kick-off party includes complimentary wood-fired pizzas, flatbreads, and pastries, as well as as wine and beer. But if you didn’t RSVP for tonight or can’t make the event, have no fear! There are more events going on for a few more days: Click here to continue reading Yelp’s 10-day Passport to Atwater Village starts today »![]() The median on Saturday, after day one of cleaning Atwater Village’s Glendale Boulevard is a main thoroughfare for all things Atwater Village – the famous Wolf Dog Boutique, the now-defunct but newsworthy marijuana dispensaries, up-and-coming new businesses, and even the site of our neighborhood Christmas tree. Last weekend residents gathered on the median of the high-traffic corridor for a neighborhood cleanup and landscaping – all thanks to The Clean and Connected Grant from Council District 13. The cleanup continued on Sunday as well, despite a great turnout by committed residents and activist. And the work continues on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 9:00 am. Bring your gloves and help finish this great project! Click here for photos from the Atwater Village Neighborhood Council, and here for photos on the Friends of Atwater Village Facebook page.
