The median on Saturday, after day one of cleaning

Atwater Village’s Glendale Boulevard is a main thoroughfare for all things Atwater Village – the famous Wolf Dog Boutique, the now-defunct but newsworthy marijuana dispensaries, up-and-coming new businesses, and even the site of our neighborhood Christmas tree. Last weekend residents gathered on the median of the high-traffic corridor for a neighborhood cleanup and landscaping – all thanks to The Clean and Connected Grant from Council District 13.

The cleanup continued on Sunday as well, despite a great turnout by committed residents and activist. And the work continues on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 9:00 am. Bring your gloves and help finish this great project!
